Job summary

KLA in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support tool troubleshooting, CIP implementation, and technical information consulting for customers in Asia. You will coordinate with regional engineering teams, communicate escalations, and help ensure rapid issue resolution.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in ME/EE or related fields, 5+ years in technical support in semiconductor manufacturing, strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor's degree in ME/EE or related areas.
• Over 5 years working experience of technical support at SEMI conductor industry.
• Competency in communication, teamwork, problem solving, and customer focus.
• Knowledge/experience troubleshooting/maintenance of PVD/CVD/Etch tools for 3+ years is a must.
• Fluent English reading/writing/speaking is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Service Team with tool troubleshooting via the escalation process and CIP implementation.
• Coordinate with Field teams and division engineering for issue/escalation/solution communication.
• Conduct technical training to Field Service Team and customers.
• Assist field team with first new product penetration in the region and set up SOPs and troubleshooting guides for key hardware activities.
• Travel around Asia for above objectives.
