Job summary

Our client, a global leader in advanced semiconductor manufacturing solutions, seeks a Technical Lead Engineer to lead an R&D team in Singapore. You will drive end-to-end product transfer, manufacturing ramp-up, and readiness reviews, coordinating with external partners and internal functions to ensure successful transfer and continuous improvement.

The role requires 7–10 years in manufacturing/NPI, strong knowledge of semiconductor processes, and experience with tooling, PLM and change

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
7–10 years in Manufacturing, NPI/NPD, Product Transfer or Industrialisation.
Experience with semiconductor equipment, automation, or capital equipment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, BOMs, PLM and ECM.
Experience in module/system-level testing and test station setup is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product transfer and manufacturing ramp-up activities.
Coordinate transfer of processes, tooling, fixtures, and production know-how to external partners.
Support NPI/NPD programmes by driving manufacturing readiness and DFM/DFT considerations.
Act as technical interface with contract manufacturers for capability and risk management.
Drive process validation, engineering changes, and control plans throughout transfer lifecycle.
Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement to manage milestones and issues.
