Job summary

SIGMA CABLE COMPANY (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking an Electrical Engineering professional to provide technical and engineering support to our manufacturing teams and meet production goals.

The role focuses on driving improvements to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product performance while establishing BOMs and SAP routing for new products. A background in electrical engineering and 3 years' relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years' relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and independent working capability.
• Self-driven, meticulous and quick learner.
• Normal colour vision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to manufacturing to meet production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, cut costs, and improve product performance.
• Source and evaluate new materials and conduct sample evaluation and trial production runs.
• Establish BOM and manufacturing routing for new products and update in SAP.
• Review contracts and technical specifications and perform supplier evaluations.
• Prepare product data sheets and maintain updates in SAP.
