Job summary

SPANNERS INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, documentation, coordination and delivery of electrical engineering projects. You will work closely with the production team to ensure projects meet customer requirements, technical specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical layout drawings and BOMs aligned with project specs.
• Generate and manage project documentation including Work Orders and design forms.
• Coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Support end-to-end planning, execution and implementation of projects.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specs and standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to verify installation quality and progress.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to source materials and resolve queries.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety compliance with local codes and industry standards.

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the design, documentation, coordination and delivery of electrical engineering projects. You will work closely with the production team to ensure projects meet customer requirements, technical specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical layout drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Generate, maintain, and manage project documentation, including Work Orders, Design & Development Discussion Forms, and other related technical records.
• Coordinate and monitor project progress with the production team to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Support end-to-end project planning, execution, and implementation activities.
• Ensure all projects are completed in full compliance with customer requirements, technical specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot engineering-related issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and inspections where required to verify installation quality and progress.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source materials and resolve technical queries.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards (e.g., SS638, CP5).

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting will be an advantage.
• Able to interpret Engineering Drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice will have an added advantage.
