Job summary

AETOS Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and support mission-critical security infrastructure. You will work on integrated ELV and CCTV/ACS/VMS systems, ensuring high system availability and proactive maintenance by collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or IT, CCNA certification, and 2–3 years of ELV/security experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
• CCNA certification.
• 2–3 years of experience in physical security or ELV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across CCTV, ACS, VMS, kiosks, UVSS, VLPR, IDS, PIDS, servers and networking equipment.
• Experience with VMS platforms such as HCP, Milestone, or similar.
• Working knowledge of networking and firewall configuration.
• Willing to participate in a 24/7 standby rotation.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot integrated server-based ELV and low-voltage security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve CCTV, ACS, VMS, kiosks, and network device issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks on servers and security systems.
• Configure and support CCTV, ACS, VMS, kiosks, VLPR, switches, and related infra.
• Monitor system performance and ensure KPIs are met.
• Document SOPs, maintenance records, site logs, and RCAs.
• Support project activities like UAT, technical docs, and user training.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams for timely resolutions.
• Participate in 24/7 standby to support critical systems.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Technical Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and working with integrated security systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting mission-critical security infrastructure while ensuring high system availability.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, working with clients, and continuously improving system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot integrated server‑based ELV and low‑voltage security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Video Management Systems (VMS), servers, and network devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hardware health checks on servers and security systems.
• Configure and support CCTV, ACS, VMS, kiosks, UVSS, VLPR, switches, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including SOPs, maintenance records, site logs, and root cause analysis reports.
• Support project activities such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), technical documentation, and user training.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Participate in a 24/7 standby rotation to support critical systems when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• CCNA certification.
• At least 2–3 years of experience supporting physical security or ELV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with:CCTVAccess Control Systems (ACS)Video Management Systems (VMS)KiosksUnder Vehicle Surveillance Systems (UVSS)Vehicle License Plate Recognition (VLPR)Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS)Servers and networking equipment
