Job summary

AMXON CONSTRUCTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced design lead to head the architectural team, ensuring drawings, fabrication lists, and as-built documentation meet project specs and deadlines.

You will coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, review shop drawings, manage revisions, and mentor junior designers. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; Revit/BIM is a plus, and MRT project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in architectural works, façade, aluminium, steel, glass, ceiling, cladding, or interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing and fabrication drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience with Revit/BIM will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team to deliver projects on schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, supplier & project teams.
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed shop drawings.
• Produce and coordinate fabrication/cutting lists for factory production.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate design changes and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions where required.
• Liaise with the production team to ensure designs are practical and buildable.
• Support the procurement and project teams with technical information and material specifications.
• Manage drawing & materials submissions, revisions, and approval processes.
• Mentor and develop junior designers and BIM/CAD personnel.
