Job summary

China Harbour (Singapore) Engineering Company Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Architect/Engineering leader to oversee architectural delivery on large-scale condo or mixed-use developments. You will coordinate trades, ensure compliance with codes, and liaise with consultants and clients to resolve technical issues.

The role requires a strong track record, effective communication, and the ability to lead design reviews and ensure timely draw production on complex projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture or related field accredited by Singapore's Professional Engineer Board.
• Minimum 10 years of experience; 5+ years in large-scale building projects.
• Proven track record of at least 1 full project cycle from commencement to TOP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely production of construction drawings including Archi Layout Plan and Concrete Body Plan.
• Manage architecture trades (wet trades, cabinetry, PBU fit-out, aluminium glazing, etc.).
• Liaise with authorities for submissions to obtain clearances.
• Coordinate day-to-day technical coordination across trades per design codes.
• Coordinate design with consultants and clients; resolve project technical problems.
• Arrange and chair regular technique team meetings for progress monitoring.
• Optimize design solutions to comply with construction standards and specs.
• Ensure construction team understands latest drawings and requirements.
• Collaborate with PM/CM on sequence and methodology to facilitate site progress.

Job description

• Ensure timely production of construction drawings including Archi Layout Plan, Concrete Body Plan with interfacing to M&E Combined Services Drawings.
• Manage architecture trades, including but not limited to wet trade, cabinetry, PBU fit out, aluminium glazing etc.
• Familiar with authorities' submission for all discipline to assist consultant in obtaining clearances.
• Resolving day-to-day technical coordination among different trades with compliance to design codes.
• Co-ordinate design related matters with Consultants and Clients. Resolve technical problems for project team.
• Arrange and chair regular meeting of technique team for progress monitoring.
• Ensure optimize design solutions in compliant with construction standards, regulatory framework, contractual specifications and buildability requirements.
• Ensure the construction team clearly understand the content and requirements of the latest drawings and requirements.
• Working with PM and CM on construction sequence and methodology to facilitate site progress.
