Replenish ingredients and prepare food items according to class size.

Assist students in using kitchen appliances and equipment.

Clean kitchen areas, tables, sinks, appliances and floors.

Maintain kitchen and food hygiene, including proper food storage.

Ensure kitchen safety and safe handling of appliances and sharp objects.

Check and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and appliances.

Monitor ingredient expiry dates and replenish stocks.

Organise kitchen equipment and storerooms.

Ensure taps, electrical points and gas supplies are switched off after use.

Assist teachers with stock taking of kitchen assets.
