Job summary

LSN Engineering in Singapore seeks a TBM Electrician/ Electrical Supervisor to analyse PLC programmes, fix faults, and maintain LV electrical systems on TBM projects. You will collaborate with Mechanical/Electrical and Operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable TBM operation.

Candidates should have 5+ years on CREG/ STEC/ Herrenknecht TBMs and Siemens Step 7 PLC experience; LTA/PUB project exposure is a plus. Immediate start within Singapore projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience reading Siemens Step 7 PLC programmes.
• Minimum 5 years working on CREG, STEC or Herrenknecht TBMs as TBM Electrician/Supervisor or TBM PLC Electrician.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults on TBM/STP via PLC interlocks and releases.
• Maintenance and rectification of low voltage electrical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse/read PLC programmes (Siemens Step 7) and support TBM operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and optimize interlocks/releases.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs of LV electrical systems.
• Assist other teams to minimize TBM downtime.

Job description

Report to the PLC Engineer/ Tunnel M&E Manager

• Possess direct knowledge of analysing/ reading PLC Programme in Siemens Step 7
• Minimum of 5 years direct experience of working on CREG, STEC or Herrenknecht Tunnel Boring Machines as TBM Electrician/ TBM Electrical Supervisor or TBM PLC Electrician
• Trouble shooting of Electrical Errors on the TBM/ STP via Visualisation of the interlocks and required releases in the PLC programme
• Carry out maintenance and general repairs/ rectifications of low voltage electrical equipment and systems
• Assist the Mechanical/ Electrical and Operations Staff to target minimal downtime of the TBM

• previous LTA / PUB projects experience is an added advantage
