Job summary
KSLC PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Civil Engineer to provide supervision for bored tunnelling operations in Singapore. You will manage TBM parameters, oversee backfill grouting, segment delivery, and cutterhead interventions, coordinating with MEP/QC/E&M teams and site logistics.
The role requires 8+ years in mechanized tunnel construction with TBM experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and English proficiency for reporting. Rotating Day/Night shifts are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years of hands-on mechanized tunnel construction and TBM operations.
- Experience with EPB or Mix-shield TBMs; cutterhead interventions and high‑pressure man‑locks preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering supervision for bored tunnelling operations.
- Oversee TBM excavation parameters, backfill grouting, segment delivery and cutterhead interventions.
- Supervise heavy equipment operations including TBM assembly and dismantling in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate site logistics and mechanical plant operations to support the tunnel drive.
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and project safety protocols.
- Submit daily/weekly progress reports and analyze TBM productivity to optimize resources.
