Job summary

Inchcape Shipping Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to act as the single operational contact for traders in Singapore and Malaysia, coordinating port calls, bunkering, and cargo operations. The role requires close collaboration with vessel Masters, owners, charterers, terminals and sub-agents to maintain a unified timeline and proactive updates.

Qualifications

• At least GCE “O” Level with credit in English and Mathematics.
• Diploma in Maritime Studies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single operational point of contact for the trader for Singapore and Malaysia.
• Manage Singapore port calls including pre-arrival planning, vessel/terminal/authority coordination, berth, anchorage, pilotage and towage, bunkering, cargo-operation coordination, and crew changes.
• Coordinate with vessel Masters, owners/operators, charterers, traders, terminals, surveyors and service providers.
• Maintain a single consolidated operational timeline for each port call and provide proactive updates.
• Monitor ETA/ETB/ETC/ETD and mitigate potential delays; ensure customer SOPs and HSSE compliance.
