invites an experienced Vessel Operations Manager (Tanker) in Singapore to oversee daily operations of assigned tanker vessels, including voyage coordination, agency appointments, vessel movements, bunker planning, and expense verification. You will liaise with ship managers, charterers, brokers, port agents and suppliers, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal voyage execution while maintaining accurate records and supporting laytime calculations and post-fixture

Qualifications

• Prior tanker vessel operations experience and ship management exposure.
• Familiarity with Q88, HVPQ, PDA/FDA review, and laytime calculation is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing voyage documents, invoices, and compliance records.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned oil tanker vessels, ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Coordinate agency appointments and review disbursement accounts in line with owner requirements.
• Liaise with ship managers, charterers, brokers, port agents, and bunkers on voyage orders and port calls.
• Monitor vessel movements, voyage progress, and operational updates for smooth execution.
• Maintain Q88 and HVPQ records and ensure accuracy of voyage-related documentation.
• Provide guidance on compliance, safety, and owner requirements to vessels.
• Coordinate bunker planning with managers, charterers, brokers, and suppliers.
• Support post-fixture team in calculating laytime, hire, and freight.
