Job summary

Call Lade Enterprises Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking team leaders to supervise port-handling operations, including Prime Mover, Reefer, Lashing and IGH.

You will oversee day-to-day activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety objectives; assist the Operations Manager; implement safe practices; manage rosters, permits, vaccinations and accommodation; liaise with customers and prepare reports; monitor materials and PPE on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in port-handling operations.
• Able to work shifts and weekends.
• Effective people-manager with a positive attitude.
• Good command of written and spoken English and preferably one more spoken language.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day activities to meet the schedule, quality, and safety objectives
• Assist the Operations Manager in managing the staff and workplace
• Implement and oversee safe practices at the workplace
• Handle manpower issues including duty roster, work permit, vaccinations and accommodation
• Liaise with customer and prepare necessary reports as requested
• Monitor materials and inventory on site to ensure that the staff are equipped with the necessary PPE and gear
