Job summary

CMA CGM Singapore is seeking a learning and development specialist to design and implement talent development, learning, and performance-management programmes that strengthen employee capabilities and support career growth.

You will act as a Centre of Excellence, partnering with HRBPs and stakeholders to deploy career development and engagement initiatives across the group, while managing external partners and delivering insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in learning and development, talent development, or related HR role.
  • Experience designing and facilitating engaging learning solutions, incl. workshops and development programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles, programme evaluation, and measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify capability needs with HRBPs and deliver learning solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Design, facilitate, and improve learning interventions, including soft-skills workshops and mentoring.
  • Act as SME for local deployment of talent programmes, incl. performance management and People Review.
  • Provide guidance to HRBPs, managers and employees to drive adoption of learning and development practices.
  • Support internships, graduates and onboarding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to deliver engagement initiatives, events and leadership sessions.
  • Source and manage external learning partners for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Track participation, feedback, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Job description

Role Overview

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving talent development, learning, career development, and performance‑management programmes that strengthen employee capabilities, support career growth, and advance business and people priorities.

This role serves as a Centre of Excellence and subject‑matter expert, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to provide expert guidance and ensure the consistent and effective deployment of career development, employee engagement, and early‑career initiatives across the organisation

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HRBPs and business stakeholders to identify capability needs and deliver learning and talent‑development solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Design, facilitate, and continuously improve learning interventions, including soft‑skills workshops, career‑development programmes, coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, and self‑awareness tools.
  • Act as the subject‑matter expert for the local deployment of key talent programmes, including performance management, People Review, and broader Group talent‑development initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and practical support to HRBPs, people managers, and employees to drive consistent adoption of learning, performance, and career‑development practices.
  • Support the implementation of emerging‑talent initiatives, including internships, graduate or Group programmes, university engagement, onboarding, and development activities.
  • Partner with HRBPs and regional stakeholders to deliver employee‑engagement initiatives, learning events, talent forums, and leadership sessions.
  • Source and manage external learning partners, ensuring programmes are relevant, high quality, and cost effective.
  • Track programme participation, feedback, and outcomes, and prepare reports and insights to support continuous improvement and informed people decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the organisation’s talent, learning, career‑development, and employee‑engagement agenda.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least four years of experience in learning and development, talent development, organisational development, or a related HR role.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating engaging learning solutions, including workshops and development programmes for diverse employee groups.
  • Sound knowledge of adult‑learning principles, learning and development practices, and programme evaluation.
  • Experience developing learning programmes tailored to business and audience needs, while managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using learning‑management systems, e‑learning platforms, and virtual‑learning tools.
  • Experience supporting performance‑management, talent‑review, employee‑engagement, or emerging‑talent programmes will be advantageous.
