Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Able to perform maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management for Windows Server environments (2016–2022).
• Experienced to support Microsoft System Center components (SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM).
• Able to conduct Tenable VMS scans, documented findings, and worked with system owners on remediation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft server systems, load balancers, and proxies.
• Assist in managing compliance-related tasks to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Support day-to-day service and change requests.
• Manage IT equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients for deployments and refreshes.

About the role

We are seeking 2 experienced Systems Engineer (Cloud Engineers) to join our team at ES Recruitment Pte Ltd on a 1 Year contract renewable basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Microsoft System Center technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of our client's IT infrastructure, playing a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their systems at Depot Road.

Cat 1 Clearance is required in this project.

What we offer

Up to S$9400 Basic with 1 month Performance Bonus, varies with individual's caliber.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide technical support for maintenance, patching, and upkeep of Microsoft server systems, load balancers, and proxies.
• Assist in managing compliance-related tasks to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to minimize downtime.
• Support day-to-day service and change requests, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Manage IT equipment inventory, including tracking, condemnation, and disposal processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients to facilitate deployments, system refreshes, and other technical initiatives.

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
2. Proficient in below:
   • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)
   • SCCM – software deployment, patching, inventory
   • SCOM – monitoring, alert handling
   • SCVMM – basic VM provisioning & management
3. Security & Compliance
   • Tenable Vulnerability Management System (VMS)
   • Monthly vulnerability scanning & remediation tracking
   • Patch compliance reporting
   • Audit support documentation (IM8 / GCB / internal audits)
4. Infrastructure & Network
   • F5 Load Balancer (basic pool/member management, monitoring)
   • Windows Failover Clustering (basic)
   • IIS administration
   • DNS / DHCP troubleshooting
   • Proxy & load balancer support (operational)
5. Operating Systems
   • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022
   • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 / 8
   • Ubuntu Server 18.04 / 20.04

Able to perform maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management for Windows Server environments (2016–2022).

Experienced to support Microsoft System Center components (SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM).

Experienced in assisting in managing F5 Load Balancer configurations and health monitoring.

Able to conduct Tenable VMS scans, documented findings, and worked with system owners on remediation.
