Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux system administration experience for production systems.
• Knowledge of OS patching, upgrade, and security practices.
• Familiarity with OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, and backup/recovery.
• Networking (TCP/IP), hardware and storage basics.
• Unix knowledge (Solaris/AIX) is advantageous.
• Web/application servers (Apache, WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS) and MQ knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with security tooling such as integrated access management is a plus.
• Familiarity with JDBC and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices is advantageous.

• Diploma/degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix certification(s).
• Must have knowledge and working experience of Linux, preferably 2+ years of hands‑on experience in system administration for production systems.
• Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, and backup and recovery techniques.
• Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware, and/or storage systems.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience of Unix (Solaris or AIX or other Unix) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and working experience of Apache HTTP web server, middleware WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, etc. will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experiences in integrated security access management software such as IBM ISAM will be advantageous.
Knowledge and experience of JDBC and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL) will be advantageous.Knowledge of cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps will be advantageous.
