Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Specialist in Singapore to provide ongoing OS and middleware administration, and to drive infrastructure initiatives. You will work with Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and Solaris systems while deploying middleware like WebSphere and MQ, and managing OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.

You will also configure databases (IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and LDAP services, and collaborate across cross-functional teams on cloud adoption and legacy system modernization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant IT experience with OS and middleware administration.
• Strong understanding of application architecture including authentication, web servers, databases and messaging servers.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to explore legacy systems while embracing new cloud services.
• Cloud-related certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Red Hat) are an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Support bid activities by sizing infrastructure and leading technical discussions.
