Job summary

Logicalis Asia Pacific is hiring for a Linux/Kubernetes specialist to design and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions. You will build Linux environments (RHEL/ Rocky/ Ubuntu), work with container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and manage Azure or AWS infrastructure in hybrid setups.

You will partner with project managers to meet scope and schedule, document designs and handoffs, and provide ongoing operational support, including on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux administration experience in production environments.
• Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes in production.
• OpenShift experience is preferred or exposure to Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments.
• Ability to move between project delivery and operations/support with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Build Linux environments and container platforms, and manage cloud infra.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure on-scope, on-schedule delivery.
• Produce design validation, implementation guides, and as-built docs.

• Participate in 24x7 standby/on-call roster as required.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery (Day 1) Design, install, configure, and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions based on approved designs and statements of work Build and deploy Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu), container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), Azure and AWS infrastructure, and hybrid/on-premises solutions Partner with Project Managers to deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and to company delivery standards Produce project documentation, including design validation, implementation guides, and as-built documentation Conduct knowledge transfer and handover to operations teams

Operations & Managed Services (Day 2) Provide operational support for production environments - ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Azure, and on-prem infrastructure Own BAU activities: OS/platform patching, upgrades, backup and recovery validation, capacity and performance monitoring Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and optimisation Participate in a 24x7 standby/on-call roster as required

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL / Rocky / Ubuntu)
• Practical experience with containerisation or Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with, or exposure to, Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience working in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Comfortable moving between project delivery and operations/support work
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in customer-facing environments

Nice to Have

• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, GitOps)
• A security-first engineering mindset (OS hardening, least privilege, vulnerability remediation)
• Prior experience in Managed Services, MSP, or Systems Integrator environments

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

• Red Hat: RHCSA / RHCE / OpenShift Administrator
• Kubernetes: CKA / CKAD
• Microsoft: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or equivalent
