Job summary

Logicalis Asia Pacific seeks a hands-on Linux and cloud infrastructure professional to join our APAC delivery team in Singapore. You will design, install, and manage Linux environments, container platforms, OpenShift, and cloud across Azure and AWS, blending on-prem and cloud to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with project managers and operations, contribute to automation, documentation, and 24x7 support readiness, while helping clients become AI-ready enterprises.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux administration (RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu)
• Experience with containerisation or Kubernetes in production
• Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift is a plus
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud infra
• Experience in hybrid on-prem + cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions
• Build and deploy Linux environments, container platforms, and cloud infra
• Partner with Project Managers to deliver projects on scope and schedule
• Produce project documentation, including design validation and implementation guides
• Conduct knowledge transfer to operations teams
• Provide operational support for production environments and incidents
• Own BAU activities: patching, upgrades, backups and capacity monitoring
• Drive automation and standardisation across environments
• Participate in a 24x7 standby/on-call roster when required

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery (Day 1)

• Design, install, configure, and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions based on approved designs and statements of work
• Build and deploy Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu), container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), Azure and AWS infrastructure, and hybrid/on‑premises solutions
• Partner with Project Managers to deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and to company delivery standards
• Produce project documentation, including design validation, implementation guides, and as‑built documentation
• Conduct knowledge transfer and handover to operations teams

Operations & Managed Services (Day 2)

• Provide operational support for production environments – ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Azure, and on‑prem infrastructure
• Own BAU activities: OS/platform patching, upgrades, backup and recovery validation, capacity and performance monitoring
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and optimisation
• Participate in a 24x7 standby/on‑call roster as required

Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on Linux administration experience (RHEL / Rocky / Ubuntu)
• Practical experience with containerisation or Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with, or exposure to, Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience working in hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environments
• Comfortable moving between project delivery and operations/support work
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in customer‑facing environments

Nice to Have

• Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation experience (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, GitOps)
• A security‑first engineering mindset (OS hardening, least privilege, vulnerability remediation)
• Prior experience in Managed Services, MSP, or Systems Integrator environments

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

• Red Hat: RHCSA / RHCE / OpenShift Administrator
• Kubernetes: CKA / CKAD
• Microsoft: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or equivalent
