Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an experienced MES Support Application Engineer to provide Level 2–3 support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related manufacturing applications. The role focuses on system stability, issue resolution, and working with production, warehouse and IT teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

About the role

An experienced MES Support Application Engineer providing Level 2 - Level 3 support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related manufacturing applications. The role will be responsible for ensuring system stability, troubleshooting complex application issues, supporting system enhancements, and working closely with production, warehouse, and IT teams to drive operational excellence.

Required skills/experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in MES, manufacturing application support, or production systems support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor operations, and warehouse systems.
• Hands-on experience with MES, ERP, WMS, or other manufacturing-related applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, testing, and deployment processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
