Job summary

terahop pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced MES Lead to drive planning, development and continuous optimization of MES systems across our manufacturing operations.

You will manage the MES development team, coordinate with Production, Quality, Equipment and Warehouse, and lead integrations with ERP, WMS and QMS.

A focus on digitalization, production traceability, data collection and quality management, plus exploration of AI and analytics, completes the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, SWE, automation, or related field.
• 5+ years in MES development/implementation in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of MES core processes and full-cycle project delivery.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Web API, and mainstream databases with system design skills.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP, WMS, QMS, or other enterprise systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving abilities.

3. Work closely with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Warehouse teams to analyze business requirements and design system solutions.
4. Lead system integration between MES and ERP, WMS, QMS, PLM, and equipment systems.
5. Drive manufacturing digitalization initiatives, including production traceability, equipment data collection, and quality management.
6. Explore and promote the application of AI, data analytics, and other emerging technologies in smart manufacturing.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in MES development or implementation within the manufacturing industry, with team or project management experience.
3. Strong understanding of MES core business processes and hands-on experience in full-cycle MES project implementation.
4. Proficiency in C#/.NET, Web API, and mainstream databases, with solid system design and development capabilities.
5. Experience in MES integration with ERP, WMS, QMS, or other enterprise systems; equipment data integration experience is preferred.
6. Strong cross-functional communication, project execution, and problem-solving skills.
