Job summary

You will maintain devices and networks, troubleshoot issues, and implement security controls across Windows and MacOS environments.

• Research and benchmark IT developments and propose efficiency improvements.
• Source, communicate and manage external service providers for IT operations.
• Create regular backups of company data and store securely for business continuity.
• Manage access control to IT systems and data to protect IP and security.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement programs.

Job description

Purpose: To manage and provide technical support of IT systems and networks, to ensure uninterrupted and secured business operation, and in compliance with VDL/ETG standard and roadmap.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update all information technology (IT) systems, its devices and peripherals, within the company to ensure stable and reliable performance.

• Trouble-shoot and resolve all IT-related technical issues and prevent re-occurrences.

• Ensure security and proper access control of all IT-systems, networks and data, so that they are free from malware, spyware, hacking, illegal software and unauthorized access.

• Research and benchmark new developments in the IT industry, and propose improvements to business processes to save costs and drive for better efficiency and productivity.

• Source, communicate and manage external parties or service providers that provide service support and maintenance to operational IT matters.

• Create regular backup of all relevant company’s data and store it safely, to ensure Business Continuity, in case of systems and/or network outage.

• Manage access control to company’s IT systems and data, to prevent unauthorized access and ensure its security and IP protection.

• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
