Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Systems Support professional to manage and support company IT systems and networks, ensuring uninterrupted and secure operations in line with company standards. You will handle trouble shooting, security, backups, and engaging external providers for IT maintenance.

The role requires a degree in IT or related field, strong communication, problem solving, and familiarity with Windows and MacOS platforms.

Qualifications

Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computing, Engineering or relevant field.
Clear communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
Knowledge about different platform (Windows, MacOS).

Responsibilities

Maintain and update IT systems, devices and peripherals for stable performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related technical issues to prevent recurrence.
Ensure security and access control of IT systems and data against malware and unauthorized access.
Research new IT developments and propose cost-saving improvements.
Source and manage external service providers for IT maintenance.
Create regular backups to ensure business continuity.
