System Planning Manager (SD-WAN)

Job summary

Singtel is seeking an experienced network engineer to design and build SD-WAN service infrastructures in a Singapore-based role. You will perform market scans, evaluate technologies through PoC, and support customer Proof-of-Value initiatives.

The position requires 6-8 years in an Enterprise/System Integrator/Telco environment, CCNP or equivalent, and solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, security, Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer-related field as listed in the posting.
• 6-8 years of experience in Enterprise/System Integrator/Telco environments.
• CCNP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, routing and security concepts.
• Basic knowledge in Linux, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Good writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in design and build of SD-WAN service infrastructure.
• Perform market scan and technical evaluation via PoC.
• Support Proof-of-Value to customer.
• Assist in L3/L4 support escalations for platform and software issues.
• Responsible in service product lifecycle management (EOL/EOS, releases, upgrades).
• Responsible in new feature development and platform enhancements.
• Responsible in technical planning, network/security engineering, and project management/coordination.
• Define Day 1 & 2 technical scope of work.
• Work closely with Product, Pre-Sales, Fulfilment, and Support teams.
