Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an IT Operations Technician to patch endpoints, assist firmware updates on switches, firewalls, and GPS modules, and monitor system logs.

The role requires independent work across multiple sites in Singapore, willingness for 24/7 standby, ability to work at heights, basic network and Windows knowledge, and good communication with customers and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Windows OS fundamentals including patching and user/service management.
• Basic network infrastructure knowledge (switches, firewalls, IP networking).
• Familiarity with common network troubleshooting tools (ping, tracert, ipconfig/ifconfig).
• Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites in Singapore.
• Physically capable to work at heights up to 40 metres on staircase towers.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 rotational standby arrangement.
• Good communication and customer engagement skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system patching for endpoints.
• Support firmware patching for network devices in coordination with OEMs.
• Review system logs to identify anomalies or potential issues.
• Assist the cybersecurity team as required.
• Attend to system faults and perform troubleshooting/restoration.
• Coordinate with customers and OEMs for system implementations.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers during engagements.
