Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a System Integration Engineer (Simulation) for a 6-month contract to develop and maintain simulation environments for robotic autonomy stacks. You will define validation criteria and methods to ensure system performance and assist with integration activities and release processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with Gazebo, CARLA, or NVIDIA Isaac Sim, strong ROS/ROS2 and Linux skills, and proficiency in Python and/or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in robotics component integration, debugging, and validation.
• Hands-on experience with Gazebo, CARLA, or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and MQTT.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with good knowledge of software architecture and object-oriented programming.
• Solid experience with ROS/ROS2 and Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Enthusiastic and proactive with a passion for tackling new projects and technical challenges.
