Responsibilities

• Apply industry knowledge and professionaljudgment in collating, analyzing and synthesizing appropriate on the software requirements and software design for military or commercial projects
• Generate high quality, technically accurate reports and other documents in support of projects to clear Safety Boards and Review Committees
• Manage and assist Project Management Team, Software Developers (In-house/Suppliers) in the area of Software Safety Activities
• Perform System Hazard Analysis, Function Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis to identify safety critical functions influence and provide safety mitigation solutions.
• Perform and document Software Criticality Analysis and determine the Software Criticality Index and software safety testing requirements
• Formulate and design test cases for safety critical software function and participate during the testing phase
• Generate Software Safety Assessment Report and validate supporting documents (Traceability matrix, White-box Testing results)
• Prepare and present the assessment to the Safety Panel and Reviews Committee
• Architect software system solution for autonomous ground robots for outdoor & indoor applications
• Design and develop mapping, localization, and pose estimation algorithms based on Lidar, vision, IMU for outdoor and indoor environment
• Plan and lead the team implementing perception algorithms based on Lidar, vision, sonar, radar
• Implement robotics fleet management system using web based solutions
• Develop and fine-tune software module to interface with robotics actuators and motors
• Perform software white-box testing using e.g. Parasoft C++ test tool
• Support system integration,testing, demonstration of robotics vehiclesand commissioningat Customer’s site

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Information System/Electronic/Electrical engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of work experiences in software/robotics system design & development
• Familiar in computer vision (Multi-view geometry, SLAM, features extraction) is a plus point
• Experience in SCRUM and Agile Methodologies
• Experience with ROS, OpenCV, Point Cloud Library, Matlab, CMake, OpenGL, gdb
• Good understanding of SDLC and working experience on software language such as C/C++, Java systems and etc. Strong in C++ development on Linux Platforms
• Knowledge of standards such as MIL-STD-882, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ANSI-B56-5 or any international or industry safety standards will be beneficial.
• Good organization and systematic approach to engineering processes, able to work on multiple projects on a tight schedule.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills and team player
• Good analytical and report writing skills
• Highly motivated individual who is able to work independently
• Creative personality and ability to motivate the team member
• Forward looking to technology/idea implementation
