Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to develop and integrate reliable software applications and system components across hardware and cloud interfaces.

The role emphasizes API integration, testing, debugging, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors. This is a 6‑month contract with renewal potential and includes company transport to the West locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CS/Software Eng/CE/EE or related field.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages (C#, C++, Java, Python).
• Experience with APIs, databases, and version control systems.

Job description

Working Location: West, with company transport provided at designated pick-up points.

Work Schedule: 5-day work week.

Tenure: 6-month contract, renewable depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliable, maintainable software applications and system components.
• Integrate software with hardware devices, databases, and third‑party platforms to meet project requirements.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes to improve system performance and reliability.
• Conduct software and integration testing, resolving issues before deployment.
• Manage source‑code changes and collaborate on development activities.
• Support system deployment and onsite commissioning when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and technology providers to resolve integration challenges and support project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Software development experience using C#, C++, Java, Python, or other programming languages.
• Good understanding of object‑oriented programming and software development principles.
• Working knowledge of APIs, databases, and Git or other version‑control systems.
• Experience with hardware/device integration, REST APIs, Web APIs, MQTT, or SDKs would be advantageous.
• Exposure to camera or image‑processing systems, biometrics, access control, kiosks, embedded systems, automated gates, or barriers would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
