Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to monitor and support enterprise systems, ensuring availability across UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.

You will work with virtualization and containerization technologies, coordinate with vendors, and document SOPs. Travel to AMK and site access at Changi Airport may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX / Linux based or windows environments.
• Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare, KVM or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
• knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Amazon Linux, etc; Windows Server 2019 will be an advantage
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks ) is an added advantage
• Experience with automation software is an added advantage
• Experience with networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure to be in line with SOP in place.

• Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
• Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for support where required.
• Provide system documentation and SOPs.
