Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deploy enterprise IT network services and lead major projects. The role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, security solutions, and a range of network appliances, with a focus on design, integration, and validation.

You will collaborate with project managers to meet deliverables and establish vendor TAC cases when needed. The ideal candidate will have Cisco certification and solid experience across Cisco, Alcatel, F5 products,

Qualifications

• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.
• Experience with Cisco, Alcatel, F5 products and firewall products.
• LAN/WAN/WLAN, data and security networking in implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project deployment for customers' Enterprise IT Network Services.
• Work closely with Project Manager to fulfil project deliverables.
• Lead medium to mega size projects.
• Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware.
• Establish TAC cases with principal vendor until resolved.
• Documentation of environment design, installation, support and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and identify network issues.

• Able to perform the role of Project Lead for medium to mega size projects.
• Preferably with basic knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas:
• LAN/WAN/WLAN: Cisco, Alcatel, Aruba routers and switches
• Design, planning, integration, implementation and validation
• Network security solutions
• Security appliances: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoints, Cisco IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass
• Network appliances based: F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM
• Build or migrate in Cloud infrastructure solutions
• Troubleshooting and problem identification
• Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, support and preventive maintenance documentation
• Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment.
