Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS (SERVICES) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Exchange Administrator to manage on‑premises and Exchange Online environments, ensuring reliable email services across the organization.

You will handle hybrid deployments, security/compliance, and disaster recovery, collaborating closely with the IT operations team. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on Exchange experience, strong AD knowledge, and proficiency in PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Exchange Server administration experience.
• Strong experience with on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Solid Active Directory, user management, and authentication knowledge.
• Proficient in PowerShell for Exchange tasks.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security/compliance for messaging.

Role Overview

Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Exchange infrastructure. Ensure reliable email services across the organization. Work with both on-premises and cloud-based (Exchange Online) environments. Join the IT operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Exchange Server environments, including installation, configuration, and updates
• Manage user mailboxes, distribution groups, and resource mailboxes
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot hybrid Exchange deployments (on-premises and Exchange Online)
• Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and optimization
• Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Implement and enforce security policies, compliance requirements, and data protection measures
• Automate routine admin tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Troubleshoot and resolve email delivery, connectivity, and user issues in a timely manner
• Maintain documentation of Exchange configurations, procedures, and system architecture
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Exchange with other enterprise systems and applications
• Perform regular security audits and apply patches to maintain system integrity and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Exchange Server
• Proven expertise in both on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and authentication protocols
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration and automation
• Solid understanding of email security, compliance standards, and data protection
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for messaging systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex email infrastructure issues
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Exchange Administrator certification or equivalent
• Experience with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and email routing protocols
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and best practices
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for Exchange
• Understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and migration strategies
