ONE CONSULTING (GLOBAL) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on IT support specialist to deliver first- and second-level assistance to vessels and crew, both remotely and on board.

You will troubleshoot networks, servers, printers and mobile devices, ensuring timely issue resolution while maintaining documentation and asset inventories. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a IT degree or diploma, and a willingness to travel internationally to support maritime operations.

Aufgaben

• Provide first- and second-level IT support remotely and onsite to vessels and crew members, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Support onboard IT hardware, servers, printers, mobile devices and maritime business applications.
• Monitor vessel LAN, Wi‑Fi, Internet and satellite connectivity within company scope.
• Coordinate incident resolution and maintenance with vessel crew, ICT colleagues, vendors and service providers.
• Maintain vessel IT asset inventories, documentation and service reports.
• Escalate major incidents and cybersecurity concerns to management.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, safety procedures and change-management processes.
• Undertake domestic and international travel to provide onboard support and installations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-level IT support remotely and onsite to vessels and crew members, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Provide technical support for onboard computers, servers, printers, mobile devices, peripherals and approved maritime business applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain vessel local area networks (LAN), Wi‑Fi, Internet access, and satellite connectivity within the scope of company support.
• Support onboard IT and communication‑related systems, coordinating with relevant communication service providers to resolve connectivity and technical issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace approved vessel IT hardware and software in accordance with established company standards and procedures.
• Coordinate incident resolution, preventive maintenance, and project implementation activities with vessel Masters, officers, crew members, ICT colleagues, vendors, and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate vessel IT asset inventories, system configuration records, support tickets, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Promptly escalate major incidents, recurring technical issues, cybersecurity concerns, and operational risks to the relevant manager.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, information security standards, vessel safety procedures, access requirements, and change‑management processes.
• Undertake domestic and international travel, as required, to provide onboard technical support, troubleshoot issues, perform installations and maintenance, and support project implementation and other maritime ICT activities.
• Perform other maritime IT support duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
