A-IT SOFTWARE SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a System Analyst to turn business requirements into practical system solutions as the project moves from specification through SIT, UAT and go-live. You will collaborate with business units and technology teams to understand needs, map processes, and drive improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least six years of relevant experience in financial institutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a Financial Institution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with system development environments and project implementations.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML systems or regulatory platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate requirements into system specifications and design, supporting SIT, UAT and go-live.
• Document system design with specifications, design docs, and SIT scripts.
• Collaborate with business units, users, and technology teams to identify gaps and solutions.
• Work with analysts and tech teams to design and implement enhancements and fixes.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and track action items; provide demos and training.

About the role

Our client, a leading regional bank, is looking for a System Analyst to turn business requirements into system solutions. You'll support the work from specification through SIT, UAT and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary work comprises requirements analysis and translating them into system specifications, mapping design and solutions, conducting SIT, supporting UAT and supporting post-implementation.
• Design and document system in accordance with the company's Systems Development Methodology - e.g., Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, SIT Scripts, etc.
• Work closely with Business Units, users and technology teams to understand requirements, analyse business processes, identify gaps and solutions.
• Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts and technical teams to design and help implement enhancements, new features, and address and fix current issues.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders when necessary and track progress on action items.
• Instruct colleagues and key stakeholders on how to use the system through demos, training programs and documents.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 years' relevant experience, preferably in a Financial Institution.
• Analytical skills: able to analyse data, requirements and gaps to review and identify areas for improvements and solutions.
• Attention to detail: able to identify potential errors, discrepancies and problem areas.
• Good communicator: strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex terminology in layman's terms.
• Interpersonal skills: able to build good working relationships with various stakeholders; patient and active listener.

• Proactive and team player: can actively track deliverables and collaborate with colleagues when needed.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge - PowerPoint for presentations, Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis/computing.
