Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced System Analyst to translate business requirements into robust functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and banking standards.

You will partner with Solution Architects to craft scalable, secure technology solutions, lead cross-functional delivery, drive process improvements through re-engineering, and coordinate testing to ensure successful implementations while maintaining governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Banking, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience as System Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in banking industry, particularly in digital banking channels and platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in business process re-engineering, solution design principles, and process improvement practices.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and participate in other projects.
• Ability to independently manage and deliver small-scale projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business requirements and convert them into comprehensive functional and technical specifications, ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture and solution design standards.
• Partner with Solution Architects to develop scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support business goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure seamless requirements implementation.
• Lead business process re-engineering initiatives by defining target operating models and identifying opportunities for technology-driven process enhancements.
• Develop, review, and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, solution design documents, API specifications, and UML diagrams.
• Support PMO planning activities, including resource allocation, effort estimation, project scheduling, and budget forecasting.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
• Contribute to mid-term strategic planning by supporting technology roadmap development and identifying opportunities for solution enhancement and optimization.
• Provide Level 2 (L2) functional support by analyzing and troubleshooting complex system issues in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure adherence to established governance frameworks, information security policies, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the solution development and implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

• Have 7–10 years of relevant experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role with comparable responsibilities.
• Demonstrate experience in the banking industry, particularly in digital banking channels and platforms.
• Possess hands-on experience with IT systems and applications within the banking sector.
• Have knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, which would be an added advantage.
• Be familiar with business process re-engineering, solution design principles, and process improvement practices.
• Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and drive positive outcomes.
• Be willing to undertake additional responsibilities and participate in other projects as assigned.
