Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced professional for the Group Operations division, focusing on Syndicated Loan Agency Administration and related facilities. You will handle daily administration, document reviews, and coordination with legal and financial parties to ensure compliance and timely execution.

You will also support digitalization projects, improve workflows, and help achieve KPIs set by senior management.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of Syndicated Loan Agency Administration or corporate loan administration experience.
• Project Financing knowledge will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of market practice in Syndication Loan Administration and Operations.
• In-depth knowledge in finance documents, and ability to interpret legal documents.
• Good communication skills with internal and external parties.
• Familiar with credit evaluation process, loan accounting and policy.
• Default loan management knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Support syndication loan agency, security agency services to all segments where the Bank is Facility Agent, Security Agent and/or Account Bank.
• Review and comment on draft finance documents.
• Process day-to-day syndication loan administration including drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, prepayment and fee calculation.
• Coordinate with Legal Counsels, Finance Parties and Borrower for deal closing and conditions precedent/subsequent.
• Ensure terms and conditions precedent of facility agreement are met before execution of requests.
• Ensure covenants such as insurance are in place throughout the life of the syndicated loan.
• Manage amendments or waivers requested by Borrower.
• File relevant MAS returns within the specified time frame.
• Support team lead to deliver KPIs as set by senior management.
• Coordinate/participate in enhancement projects in the department (e.g., system enhancements).
• Support and lead projects as required; ensure workflow per SOP.
