Job summary

Thriving Weeds Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive, Business Development to support the founder in sustainability consulting projects. You will help identify new clients, manage relationships, and coordinate with partners and suppliers to deliver solutions.

You will work in a hybrid setup (office, home, client sites), receive on-the-job training, and enjoy career progression and a commission-based salary.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Nitec or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability, Engineering, Facilities Management, Logistics or related discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, customer service, operations or project coordination preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and initiative may be considered.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven insights and presentations.
• Passionate about sustainability and driving positive environmental impact.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new/repeat clients and grow sales channels for sustainability waste audit and proprietary waste tracking solutions.
• Develop long-term client relationships and cross-selling opportunities through networking.
• Conduct discovery meetings, site assessments, client presentations, and provide professional advice to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce carbon footprints.
• Create compelling presentation slides, insights, and dashboards, or collaborate with external partners to develop these for clients.
• Engage in R&D of new waste technologies, manage projects, and pilot launches with clients and research institutes.
• Deliver, set up and collect weighing, monitoring and data-capture equipment for clients in coordination with colleagues.
• Handle administrative tasks including meeting coordination, PO and invoicing, and inventory management.
