Job summary

Allied Search Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of supply planners and ensure robust supply planning. The role focuses on forecasting, inventory management and coordinating with manufacturers to keep production and deliveries on track.

The candidate should have a degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a managerial role within chemicals, lubricants, or bulk industrial materials.

• 'Degree in Engineering', 'Business' or 'Supply Chain' is required.
• Minimum 10 years working experience, with 5 years in management in bulk industrial materials industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Supply Planners to ensure effective supply planning and execution.
• Oversee end-to-end supply planning: forecasting, order fulfilment, inventory and supply availability.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers at management level for smooth production and supply operations.
• Coordinate relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, logistics partners and service providers.
• Prepare and present regular management reports on operations, inventory, sales and KPIs.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and processes.

Job description

As an Supply Chain Manager (Chemical & Lubricant Industry), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and manage a team of Supply Planners, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective supply planning and operational execution.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply planning cycle, including demand forecasting, order fulfilment, inventory management, and supply availability to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Work closely with contract manufacturers at management level to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely production and supply operations.
• Manage and coordinate relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and other service providers to ensure seamless business operations and delivery performance.
• Prepare and present regular management reports covering operations, inventory, sales, supply performance, and other key business KPIs.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 10 years working experience, with 5 years of relevant management experience in industrial lubricant, chemicals or other bulk industrial materials industry.
