Job summary

The role collaborates with production, sales and finance to optimise order fulfilment while ensuring regulatory and ISO compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in supply chain operations with leadership experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance including environmental, safety, and trade.
• Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma or similar).
• Hands-on logistics operations, procurement, inventory management, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control and support on-time delivery performance across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with production, sales, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient order fulfilment and inventory management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support a reliable supply chain network.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ISO requirements.
• Implement and maintain departmental buddy systems, cross-training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing programmes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyse operational data, prepare performance reports, and recommend process improvements.
• Plan and manage daily operations and workforce deployment within the supply chain function.
• Oversee workflow optimisation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, 5S standards, SOPs, and safe work procedures.
• Promote good housekeeping practices and operational excellence across the department.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, including environmental, safety, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience in logistics operations, procurement, inventory management, and transportation processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management systems, logistics software, and related technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as Hazardous Substance Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is an added advantage.
