Job summary

Prestige Products Distribution Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a supply chain professional to drive demand forecasting, manage inventory levels and process purchase orders. You will coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Shipping and Finance to ensure accurate forecasts and timely deliveries.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or related fields and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

DemandForecasting

• Prepare and submit purchase forecasts to principals based on the approved purchase budget and business plan.
• Plan and prepare forecasts and orders for new product lines and brands.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams on forecasts and POSM requirements for new product launches.

Inventory Management

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to support business requirements.
• Analyse inventory data and stock movement before placing new orders.

Order Management

• Issue Purchase Orders(POs) and manage purchases in line with the approved purchase budget and forecast.
• Ensure PO details, including references, quantities and prices, are accurate against Proforma Invoices and Commercial Invoices.
• Follow up on outstanding balances, back orders and pending deliveries.
• Provide New Code Information and the relevant supporting documents for new product code creation in the system.
• Create and maintain Blanket Purchase Orders in the company system.
• Liaise with Shipping and Finance teams to coordinate shipment arrangements and payment of orders.

Report Management

• Consolidate and maintain supplier purchases by brand and value in a centralised file.
• Maintain and update pricing information whenever changes are provided by principals.
• Prepare monthly wholesale and/or retail sales reports for principals.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Others

• Perform other ad-hocduties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in SupplyChain, Logistics, Business or related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in demand planning, purchasing, supply chain or a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
