Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural site supervisor to oversee on-site works for road and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will supervise civil and architectural works, drainage, utilities diversions, and liaise with contractors and authorities. Experience with LTA projects and building muscle through precast fabrication is preferred. The role requires coordination across multiple agencies, commitment to safety, and active participation in PMCC operations to monitor progress and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural with NCCS accreditation by JAC of IES/ACES.
• Eligible to apply for RTO certificate with Institution of Engineers, Singapore.
• 3+ years of experience in road works/LTA projects, viaducts, flyovers, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect works to ensure compliance with Authority requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and agencies for project activities.
• Oversee fabrication of precast concrete and steel elements on/off site.
• Supervise lifting operations for erection of precast elements.
• Inspect and assist in issuing E-Token for soil disposal.
• Review safety, environmental and health matters on site.
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation.
• Verify quantities for progress payments and reporting.
• Provide other services required for project delivery.
• Assist in operating the Project Monitoring Control Centre (PMCC).

• Provide supervision and inspection to ensure that the Contractor(s) comply with Authority's and agencies' requirements
• Supervise all works, permanent & temporary, including Civil and architectural works, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, commuter facilities, road works, trial trenches and utilities diversion
• Coordinate with contractor(s) and relevant agencies/site partners for the work
• Supervise fabrication of precast concrete and steel structural elements both on site & off site
• Supervise lifting operations to erect precast concrete elements
• Inspect and assist in issuance of E-Token for soil disposal
• Review & supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Verify & check quantity of work done for progress payment
• Provide other services required
• Assist in operating of Project Monitoring Control Centre ( PMCC )

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Must be eligible to apply for an RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certificate under Institution of Engineers, Singapore
• Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage
• Contractor site work experience would be an advantage
• Min 3 years of experience in road works / LTA projects / viaduct / flyover / cut &cover tunnel experience
