Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified Civil/Structural Supervisor to oversee civil and architectural works, sewerage and utilities diversions on major infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with authorities, and supervising precast fabrication and lifting activities. Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or NCCS with JAC/IES/ACES QSS accreditation, and be eligible for RTO certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or NCCS is required.
• Accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• Eligible to apply for an RTO certificate under Institution of Engineers, Singapore.
• 3 years of road works/LTA project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with Authority and agencies' requirements.
• Supervise civil, architectural works, sewerage, drainage, road works, and utilities diversion.
• Coordinate with contractors and site partners for the work.
• Supervise fabrication and lifting of precast concrete and steel elements.
• Assist in issuing E-Token for soil disposal.
• Review safety, environmental and health matters.
• Assist in operating Project Monitoring Control Centre (PMCC).

• Provide supervision and inspection to ensure that the Contractor(s) comply with Authority's and agencies' requirements
• Supervise all works, permanent & temporary, including Civil and architectural works, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, commuter facilities, road works, trial trenches and utilities diversion
• Coordinate with contractor(s) and relevant agencies/site partners for the work
• Supervise fabrication of precast concrete and steel structural elements both on site & off site
• Supervise lifting operations to erect precast concrete elements
• Inspect and assist in issuance of E-Token for soil disposal
• Review & supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Verify & check quantity of work done for progress payment
• Provide other services required
• Assist in operating of Project Monitoring Control Centre ( PMCC )

• Min Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Must be eligible to apply for an RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certificate under Institution of Engineers, Singapore
• Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage
• Contractor site work experience would be an advantage
• Min 3 years of experience in road works / LTA projects / viaduct / flyover / cut &cover tunnel experience
