Job summary

Mount Faber Leisure Group is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Supervisor, Technical Operations to lead the safe operation and maintenance of rides and attractions. You will supervise daily tasks, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and drive operational excellence across stations.

This role requires a technical background (NITEC/ Higher NITEC or Diploma), 2–3 years in operations or maintenance, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in a technical or engineering field.
• 2–3 years of relevant operations or maintenance experience in attractions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) exposure is an advantage.

• Support Duty Superintendent with fault diagnosis, pre-operation checks and rectification tasks.
• Lead the technical ground team through start-up procedures and safe execution of duties.

• Maintain accurate records of daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Escalate safety concerns to Duty Superintendent when needed.
• Provide on-job training to new staff to meet standards.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Supervisor, Technical Operations, to lead and oversee the safe operation and maintenance of Mount Faber Leisure Group's rides and attractions. The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring team performance, safety compliance, and operational excellence, while upholding all relevant standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise the daily operations and maintenance of the assigned rides / attractions, ensuring full compliance with standing instructions and safety protocols.
• Carry out and support Duty Superintendent in operational tasks such as fault diagnosis, pre-operation checks, and rectification works.
• Lead and guide the technical ground team to execute their duties effectively and safely, including start-up procedures at respective stations.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure all team members are aware of and comply with safety and operational requirements.
• Conduct troubleshooting, breakdown investigations, and follow up with corrective actions under guidance from the Duty Superintendent.
• Perform and oversee routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, lubricating, cleaning, overhauls, calibrations, and necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records including daily operations logs and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and report any issues that may impact safe operations; escalates concerns to Duty Superintendent as required.
• Supervise on-job training (OJT) for new staff, ensuring they are properly onboarded and trained to standard.
• Foster a disciplined and professional work environment, ensuring high standards of behaviour and teamwork.
• Coordinate communication and task execution between operational stations to maintain seamless workflow.
• Take ownership of operational processes at assigned stations and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in a technical or engineering-related field.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in operations or maintenance, preferably in an attractions environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse team members.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills and a collaborative work attitude.
• Exposure to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

MFLG welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates who are eligible to work in Singapore. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a more senior role, with compensation adjusted accordingly.
