Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking an industrious technician to support laboratory or cleanroom operations with technical, logistics, and administrative duties. The role focuses on assembling electronic and mechanical parts to build machines according to specifications and work instructions.

You will assist engineers with troubleshooting, perform functional and leak tests, and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and 5S practices. Shift patterns and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in manufacturing, aerospace or engineering.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment with proper PPE.
• Willingness to work shift patterns and overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines per specifications and drawings.
• Conduct functional and leak tests, identify errors and perform rework.
• Report issues and assist engineers in troubleshooting.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols and 5S practices.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline.

Job Summary

• Working under direct supervision, responsible for supporting laboratory or cleanroom operations, in the broadest sense with technical, logistics, and administrative components. Most activities provide assistance to other functions within the organization

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
• Conduct functional and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
• Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Required to understand the cleanroom protocol and practice the 5S Concept for cleanroom.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering industry
• Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
• Able to work in cleanroom environment; wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
• Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/ Professional Certificate or its equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering

able to carry some weight (up to 20kg) – due to need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station
