Job summary

Silicon Box Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced production supervisor to lead the semiconductor line, optimizing workflows and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will manage shift schedules, coordinate with engineering and QA, and drive continuous improvement through kaizen events and disciplined problem-solving.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor production.
• Positive and can-do attitude as well as willingness to accept challenges.
• Demonstrate commitment to work and able to perform shift duties.
• Good analytical skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Command and control operations on the production line.
• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight priorities for Engineering.
• Analyze WIP to minimize constraints in equipment, process, or manpower.
• Improve processes to meet standard cycle time and boost efficiency.
• Address bottlenecks by coordinating with multiple departments.
• Drive continuous improvement in the production line.
• Lead and participate in Six Sigma kaizen events.
• Suggest measures to motivate staff and solicit ideas to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Schedule staff: assignments, rotations, training, and shift planning.
• Resolve production problems as they arise.
• Counsel and discipline staff who fail to perform or violate policies.

Responsibilities

• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlighting key priorities for the Engineering Team.


• Analyze WIP profile to minimize constraints in equipment, process, or manpower.


• Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency / productivity to meet standard cycle time.


• Address issues that affect bottle necks by working with various departments.


• Drive for continuous improvement in the line.


• Actively lead and participate in 6Sand kaizen events.


• Recommend and implement measures to motivate employees and to encourage employees to recommend ways to improve process, quality, safety and efficiency.


• Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, shift rotations.


• Resolve or addresses production problems as they arise.


• Counsel and discipline production employees who fail to perform or violate company policies.
