Job summary

CapitaLand Group in Singapore seeks a Supervisor, Engineering to assist in maintaining property operations and mechanical/electrical systems in our Serviced Residence. You will manage maintenance staff and vendors, inspect work, and troubleshoot, reporting to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Engineering.

You will ensure preventive maintenance, coordinate renovations, and contribute to high-quality service across locations.

Responsibilities

• Review standards and prepare operational reports for management
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments
• Coordinate, install and inspect repairs; maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems
• Coordinate renovations of existing facilities and new facilities
• Ensure preventive maintenance programmes are carried out routinely
• Respond to and resolve technical breakdowns within assigned shifts
• Contribute to inventory control systems
• Recommend adjustments or modifications to improve the system
• Perform related tasks as assigned

Supervisor, Engineering

You will assist the Manager or Assistant Manager, Engineering in the implementation of procedure for services, such as maintenance of the property operations, mechanical and electrical operations in our Serviced Residence. This includes managing the work of maintenance employees and vendors/contractors, inspecting maintenance work and troubleshooting. You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Engineering.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Assist to review standards according to operating procedures and provide support in preparing operational reports to the Management
• Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments
• Coordinate, install and inspect repairs and maintain the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all related locations
• Coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities
• Ensure that the preventive maintenance programme is implemented and carried out routinely
• Respond and resolve technical breakdowns within the assigned shifts
• Contribute to effective inventory control systems
• Make recommendations for any adjustments or modifications to improve the system
