M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Supervisor and General Foreman bridges management and site workers, overseeing daily installations (plumbing, electrical) to ensure compliance with drawings, safety, and schedules
Key Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Coordination:
- Supervise daily M&E site activities, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless work flow.
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
Team Leadership & Project Management:
- Manage and lead technicians, foremen, and workers, including duty scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Oversee project progress to meet milestones, conducting site inspections to ensure quality control (e.g., SSOC/BCA/SCDF standards).
- Identify and resolve technical problems and site clashes promptly to minimize delays.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and inspection records.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over of systems.
- Maintain records of as-built drawings and materials.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in construction management or supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific industry (construction ).
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications.
