Job summary

SMM ENGINEERING & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor and General Foreman to bridge management and on-site execution for daily installations across plumbing and electrical works. The role ensures compliance with drawings, safety standards, and schedules.

The candidate will supervise and lead technicians, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee progress to meet milestones while maintaining quality and safety records on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising M&E site activities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with drawings, method statements, and specs
• Knowledge of SSOC/BCA/SCDF standards
• Ability to resolve site clashes promptly

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily M&E site activities (electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and ensure compliance with drawings and specs
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants and subcontractors to maintain workflow
• Lead technicians and foremen; manage duty scheduling and performance monitoring
• Oversee project progress to meet milestones and perform site inspections for quality control
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and inspection records; assist in testing and handover of systems
• Maintain records of as-built drawings and materials

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination:


• Supervise daily M&E site activities, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection.


• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless work flow.


• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.

• Team Leadership & Project Management:


• Manage and lead technicians, foremen, and workers, including duty scheduling and performance monitoring.


• Oversee project progress to meet milestones, conducting site inspections to ensure quality control (e.g., SSOC/BCA/SCDF standards).


• Identify and resolve technical problems and site clashes promptly to minimize delays.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and inspection records.


• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over of systems.


• Maintain records of as-built drawings and materials.
