Job summary

Welstand International Pte. Ltd. is looking for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehousing activities, ensure efficient product handling, and enforce safety policies. You will manage labour, productivity, and quality control while optimizing inventory and processes.

The role requires coordinating with customers, planning schedules, and maintaining a safe work environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-project management are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience in retail hardware sales and wholesale packaging.
• Knowledge of hardware materials such as chains, changkols, axes.
• Class 3/4 driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on task.
• Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping.
• Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set by Company
• Plan and deliver schedules for more specific needs such as periodic timetable, utilising available manpower and equipment
• Liaise with customers via e-mail & telephone for all documentation and administration matters
• Oversee all aspects of inventory control efforts and inventory personnel for the warehouse including daily cycle count and housekeeping of inventory
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
• Responsible for the inspection and routine maintenance of associated machines and hardware equipment.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Carry out other duties in accordance with company's management policy procedures and work instructions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably with 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Preferably with experience in retail sale of hardware such as chains, changkols, axes
• Preferably with experience in wholesale packaging and good knowledge in hardware products / materials distributions through various channels
• Must have knowledge in hardware materials such as chains, changkols, axes etc
• Preferably with Class 3 / Class 4 Driving Licence
• Physically fit – the role requires walking, lifting, bending and other physical abilities
• Able to lift and carry heavy loads and able to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Must be able to work longer hours, weekends and public holiday when necessary
• Strong sense of responsibility, focus on customer satisfaction and be a team player
• Good trouble shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects within the scope of work and stay on task
• Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
