Job summary

SPH Media Limited in Singapore seeks a Business Analyst to own the monthly revenue and cost reporting for the subscription business. You will manage reporting models, validate data and deliver dashboards for MBR/ELT with clear insights and actionable commentary.

You will work with Finance, Customer Intelligence and Sales & Marketing to automate processes, improve data quality and support strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and other advanced formulas.
• Experience with Power Query; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate insights clearly with stakeholders across functions.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly revenue and cost reporting process for the subscription business, preparing, consolidating and maintaining reporting models and datasets.
• Analyse business performance by identifying trends, variances, risks and opportunities to inform decision-making.
• Prepare and support Monthly Business Review, ELT and other management reporting with commentaries, dashboards and materials.
• Perform data validation and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business Units and stakeholders to gather requirements and improve reporting quality.
• Develop and maintain reporting models using Excel and Power Query, with automation to improve efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analyses, commercial initiatives and strategic projects as required.
