Job summary

Maxhunt Resource Pte Ltd is deploying personnel to Teck Whye Primary School to provide befriending, mentoring, and targeted student support for High Needs Students. The role covers one-on-one mentoring, case management with families, and social-emotional guidance within the school environment.

The team will work closely with teachers and school staff to maintain student well-being, support attendance, and promote positive behaviour during daily routines and special events.

Qualifications

• Preferably experience in a school environment.
• Minimum Diploma qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or related discipline.
• Experience in youth work, student support, or social services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Student befriending and mentoring for High Needs Students (HNS).
• Provide one-on-one support and manage on-ground student discipline.
• Engage with students and parents; coordinate follow-ups and monitor progress.
• Deliver social-emotional support and motivational talks to build resilience.
• Monitor homework completion and promote positive behaviour during events.
• Coordinate with school personnel on student concerns and interventions.
• Assist in school events and perform general administrative tasks.
